Anyone know how to have a graphic FIXED behind text in content area?

I looked around and couldn't find anything on this...
I would like to try putting a png or jpg BEHIND all the text in one of two content items..
IS there a way to do this... How would I have the text and any links sit nicely on TOP of the graphic...
I think I'm just brian weary today as this may be dead easy..
Thanks for any thought.

I've now gone to the post link above ...and posted there as I had no luck with the tips I found there...
