Help get RSS feeds from other sites into my content section...

Hello again,
Happy new year to all you helpful people!
I am trying to get content from various blogs to show up on my site through rss feeds. But it appears that I am not doing things right. These are the steps I'm taking:
1. Opened a new module called "news feeds" in the user9 position, published module to Home page.
2. Pasted in the domain.com from the page I want to get feeds from. Set "items" to 4.
3. Went to category manager, created new "Blog Feeds," published to Home page.
4. Pasted {mosloadposition user9} into the "description" section.
Nothing happened.
Incidently, when I originally went to the page I want feeds from, and clicked on "rss" and subscribed, all that happened is the page got added to the Microsoft Feeds folder next to my Favorites. Was I supposed to get some link to paste into my website? ???
Please advise!
