    • Where would I make a change in the code to have Article Titles on just the article pages use <h1> tags?

      Thanks,
      Dave

    • I apply this solution manually in all my websites and it's really very useful for ranking. Sure, I have a lot of other things installed and hacked. The final result is a enormous difference with the default Joomla! SEO is absolutely important.

    • Sorry I didnt get a chance to get back here to update this. I am using 1.5 so I had to do a bit more searching and found that the file to change is /components/com_content/views/article/tmpl/default.php

Then just some css tweaking and I was all set. Thanks to all who replied!

    • Hi David, Although I am still yet to set up a full 1.5 site, I am under the impression there are ways to do this with 1.5 that doesn't require any hacking at all. Apparently this can be done at the template level with overrides. Please correct me if I'm wrong, and If I'm not, why has this not been done with the 1.5 template available here at RT (question for RT staff? ). OT, please excuse the lack of <br /> in this post... FF is messing with with my head again.
