AEC? SETTING up a paid membership Joomla Site...

- any recommendation for what I might use to manage a paid membership Joomla site. As I type this, I'm realizing that RT is a good example. I'd like users to be able to pay membership dues via Paypal and receive login credentials immediately after doing so. Idealy, that membership can flag them to renew at their anniversary date and remove member priviliges too. Anyone done this wanna recommend the best tool(s) for implementing this? Is Account Expiration Control (AEC) the best extension for this?

AEC is the only one I have used and found half easy to configure. I really only use if for donations and such.
I think the latest install I did was on www.eventingky.com click on the register tab to see some various membership options.
Im interested in seeing if anyone has something better integrated with JACL or JUGA - Black & White must be making a come back

Thanks Wayne. Looking like I'll be going with AEC cuz, like you say, there don't appear to be better J1.5 alternatives. BTW, I saw a small type on the site you linked:

Thanks Thomas, good catch. The guys at AEC are pretty good for support too, even if the push the hell out of "paid side" of their support. They got 30+ E0s out of me, so they cant say I didnt line some of their Joomwallets
Perhaps Andy can tell us what RT is using as I sure cant remember who or what I payed here. All I know it was was well worth it and I see the clock ticking everyday I visit.. ;D
