After doing some surfing, i was intrigued with a site called
www.rikai.com
. I'm pretty sure there are some professionals out there who know how this site was made on thertforums so I thought I asked...
Making a website is not the hard part, what I think is the challenge is how they integrated a translation tool/dictionary into the website. Is this possible with Joomla?
In addition, I thought it was really cool how you can simply put your mouse over a word and a translation of the word pops out.
Does anyone know how they did this? Just curious...
thanks for the reply. I tried contacting the guy but still no go. It seems that the dictionary file they use is mainly for electronic dictionaries very common in Japan and in other nations... I think the code is open source but I still don't know how to integrate that to Joomla... However I found a module for Joomla that is very similar and can translate to many different languages at here
Now the only thing I have in question is how they do that pop-up thing with the mouse? When you place your mouse over a word, a translation of the word pops out or as they say (run your mouse over a word and a translation of the word come out) That's very cool!
