    • ???I use Joomla 1.5.6 and at the end of articles I don't want the next or previous to show. How do I set it not to show in configuration. Any help will be appreciated. I use the versatility III template.

    • first. update to 1.5.7

second .. go into article manager. click on properties (i think) or maybe parameters and then click hide for show navigation. (again, i think)

I haven't re-cooped from upgrading to 1.5.6 yet. It messed up everything on my site. Had to redo all my articles' images. My downloads stopped working - couldn't use RSSFile. Had to re-do Paypal setup and everything. It's been horrible. I lost a lot of customers.

    • Set up a mirror test site and try upgrading there. Once you work out the kinks - then go live with it. Use Joomla Pack...then make a separate folder for installing back-up site. Then work there on upgrade.

Once you have upgrade running smoothly joomla pack it and replace current site...

Just make sure you put up a doing maintenance for site page up first while switching. Its a lot easier and is really fast. Then you can also test new features on the back up too before setting them up on the live one. ;D ;)
