Any Extensions that allow SQL in modules?

    • I need to do a few COUNTs and want to publish these data in a module; are there any extensions out there that allow for raw SQL injected into modules?

I am still learning the platform and php, so not too confident I can hack up a plugin to get this done, but assuming someone out there must have had the same needs and did some Joomla voodo that they do. ;)

    • Hi Terp,

Have you tried mod_php by fijiwebdesign?

No, sir, but will give it a look...thought of you when I posted the question, as you always know of a toy or two that usually provides me with a solution. ;) Thanks, man.

This one? "Alpha version of PHP Modules for Joomla 1.5?" I'll give it a go...

That was one of the earliest extensions of it's type, but I'm pretty sure there are many more similar ones on the JED now that do the same or better.

Let us know if one of them solves your problems.
