Page numbers for multiple pages

- Hi, hope someone can help me with this. I have a long article, which i have split up into several pages using pagebreak. That works fine for me, and I am able to get a page with a article index. The problem is that at the bottom, i have two navigation links, prev and next which do what they are supposed to. My problem is, how on earth do i get the page numbers to show up as well? so that users can click on the number 1 to go to page 1, etc.? I have been searching for quite a while and cant find anything on that.
