I found a great tool

It checks for all kinds of markup errors, the demo only does 10 but it gives you a good idea... Maybe you guys could start putting your templates through this to ensure they pass, or at least get better than 70-80% numbers... I ran my site using Afterburner, which, one would think would have virtually no errors and I found out its loaded with errors. -

They just want to make money so you can't trust sites like that. W3 validator is what we use anyway so
