    • I've designed a Joomla site that works like a portal. Users can go to the portal site and from the user menu, they can click and choose to go to another website. My hosting allows me to use up to 25 subdomains so I thought it would be cheaper to go that route. (they even thought it was a good idea).So, I set up the subdomain folder and I have a joomla website ready to go. however, when I clicked on the site in the user menu, the site would not come up. I know I have the domain address set correctly so I know it must be something that needs to be changed in the joomla install in the subdomain. ( the joomla site was a live and working site before, and all I did was use that folder as the subdomain folder) Which file(s) do I have to change to make it work again under the new subdomain, domain name?Thanks in advance.

      Check your configuration.php file and make sure the path points to your subfolder.

    • I actully looked at the config.php. which path would that be? would it be the "var $livesite?
