Partition my hard drive

- I am thinking about getting a copy of Windows 7 but I don't want to remove vista off my machine completely so I was thinking about partitioning my hard drive and installing it. It's then easy way of doing this?

Or, get a new HDD, swap out the old one, and install W&7.
