Great calender blog tool for joomla?

Posted 15 years 1 month ago
    • Hi,
has anybody good expiriences with a blog calender module?
I'm looking for a calender module which shows article entry dates.
There are only 2 at joomla extentions and they seemed to be not updated for a long time.

Has anybody an idea? I don't mind paying for it if it works, so it don't need to be a free module.

Would be very happy to hear your suggestions. :P

      kind regards
      Jo

    • Ugh. I'd like to know a good calendar too. My programing experience is not so much yet so I don't know how to modify my own styles enough to pretty the calendar listings all up. All I want is a nice looking calendar that is easy to update and allows me to have pictures or a thumbnail in the title in the list of events.

    • I haven't found anything yet. The best I've found is Event List, extensions.joomla.org/extensions/calendars-a-events/events/99 which allows you to add venues and isn't styled like complete ass.

I'd definitely be willing to pay for an extension that looks good and allows you to put graphics in the titles or styles itself from your existing template. All the ones I've found the modules look like hell, just a long, boring display of textual titles.
