Did you tried to use any of the plugins for recaptcha?

It would seem that recaptcha itself has been broken - see the list of outstandin gissues on github with boththe same error you're getting and other errors that other members are reporting too. https://github.com/google/recaptcha/issues Regards, Mark.

Hi, I'm using Gantry/K2 and I just updated to Joomla 2.5.16, I updated the Gantry to 4.1.2, and the K2 to 2.6.7. The site seems to be working fine except the ReCaptcha form is not showing in the Contact page as it once was. I have gone through every step listed here: http://www.templatemonster.com/help/joomla-2-5-x-how-to-configure-captcha-recaptcha-plugin.html several times and the Recaptcha is still not showing up. I even installed the Admin Tools to fix any permissions problems. I created a new contact page and tried it there, I got new Keys from Google Recaptcha which I checked and rechecked. I have it enabled everywhere. It's still not coming up. The Recaptcha has been enabled through the User Manager, Global Configurations and the Parameters within K2. I also have it enabled within Contact Manager. The Only thing I'm wondering if the culprit is that in the Extension Manager I'm seeing a 4.1.2 version of the Gantry Site Component, Library and Plugin (which I just updated recently), but The Gantry Administrator is listed as version 3.2.13 there since Dec 2011. Should I update just that administrator extension? And where would I find just it? Or is there an obvious solution that I'm not seeing? I'm having problems with my website (www.simracinghub.com) with new users. For some reason they can't register a new user, instead they get a message saying "Empty solution not allowed" after they click on register. It looks like this has to do with reCaptcha not showing up in the registration page, but I'm not sure why. Your help is appreciated! Thanks, Janos

What template? what Gantry? What CMS - as you're talking about "widgets" I assum Wordpress? What Form? Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you. Regards, Mark.
