Just FYI
Joomla 1.6.2 was released last night and we've already seen reports of issues with our Joomla 1.6 templates that were working fine with Joomla 1.6.1
Issues so far:
- Assorted JS errors in the Gantry admin (appears that 1.6.2 has changed/removed some JS functions we rely on). This is a critical error and renders the admin unusable.
- Changes to the com_content output. We override these output files to provide a custom look in many of our templates, so there could be some rendering issues until we get all the changes merged.
We will update this list with status and release information as we dig into it further.
UPDATE: 4/15/11 :17:30 MST - Gantry for Joomla 1.6 version 3.2.3 has been released. After Gantry is updated to this latest 3.2.3 versions the current released templates should function fine with Joomla 1.6.2. We will release some newer versions of the 1.6 templates with the new 1.6.2 syntax in the coming days, but there are no breaking issues that we know of that will cause problems with the existing versions.
