problem with kunena profile edit button in dominion

Posted 14 years 3 months ago
    • I am installing Dominion on my testserver and all seems to be working just fine! Just 1 small problem: the template is giving an override somehow in the way Kunena profile is being shown. When I use rhuk_milkyway the edit profile text is on the right and clickable, using Dominion it jumps to the left and the link is gone. Any ideas how to solve this?

      Link: OLD LINK REMOVED
      Joomla: 1.5.20
      Kunena: 1.6

Any ideas on how to solve this one?

    • One step closer: disabling System - Mootools Upgrade seems to bring back the link and places the link in the right spot. But now I cant change my profile?

    • hi there,

make sure to use the latest version of dominion and the roknavmenu extension, then there should not be any issues with the mootools upgrade plugin enabled.

      hope this helps, kat :)

    • Thank you: upgraded to Dominion 1.5.11; Roknavmenu 1.13 and Joomla 1.5.20 but still the same problem?

Hmmm? Sidebar A is now on the left of Content?

    • hi again,

depending on how you updated the template, you may have to reconfigure the template parameters to get the sidebar-a to display on the side you wish.

you can use the layout sliders in the template parameters > layouts...

to see how this works, make sure to check the documentation on our gantry framework site.
      www.gantry-framework.org/documentation/joomla/configure/layouts

best to check the video tutorial to fully understand how to use those sliders.

about the kunena profile issue, can you post a screenshot to explain what the issue is exactly?
not sure i find my way around on your site, i dont know dutch. :)

      hope this helps, kat :)

    • Hehehe...I know how to rearrange the modules etc. Just wondered that after reinstall the modules are on the other side. (will rearrange them later, not important).

The edit button should be on the right, not the left. You can see the button jump to the left when you hit F5

It is working when using a standard Joomla template but with Dominion it isn't clickable. The button can be found with this link: www.pickyourfish.com/forum/profiel (changed to english so you can at least read part of the forum).

      (edit: typo)

    • Hmmm....new problem...after updating the template and components one menu item with child items is behaving erratically (check Vissendatabase in the menu, try to select one of the last menu items)?
