    • Hello i have a site using your theme "Versatility 4, November 2008" and i would like to update it to the new theme Quantive without lossing my content, since the first is not using Gantry and is four years old i would like to know first if it is possible or if i will have some problems,

Wich files from the Theme Download section should i use?

      Thanks

    • hi rafael,

you can install the quantive bundle (template + gantry framework) or you can install the quantive standalone (template) + the gantry framework separately.

you will also need to install the quantive extensions from the extensions package.

you will not lose any of your content, but you will have to go to your module manager and reassign your modules to the new module positions, as there are called differently between versatility and quantive.

      hope this helps, kat :)

    • :arrowu: + And before you get started, you should probably back up your site and then install the backup on your localhost or in a sub folder of your site so you can do some testing and have a chance to work on the site without have to worry about it being live as you go through the process.

When you are done with the dev site you can move it to the root of your site.
