i already registered a new subdomain
www.envisionavsolutions.com
and i want the site under kmrental.biz to be transferred to the new domain name (i changed business name). and just point my old webname kmrental.biz to the new one envisionavsolutions.com.
How can i do this? i have no idea. Is there a foolproof way? i hope this not affect google/yahoo rankings.
If I have understood you correctly you want to move your site from one domain name to another?
They cannot be subdomains as they would not begin www. A subdomain is usually in the format of subdomainname.maindomainname.com. This means they are either addon domains or full domains for hosting purposes.
The easiest way to transfer the site is to use
Akeeba Backup
to create the backup. Then use their kickstart to unpack the site on the new server/domain.
To avoid search engine issues just add the appropriate 301 redirects to the .htaccess file at the old site when you have done the transfer.
Hope this helps.
