    RocketLauncher Installed in weird directory?

Posted 14 years 4 months ago
    • Ok, excuse me, I'm completely new to RocketLauncher, but I did search for at least 5 minutes and couldn't find an answer.

I installed the Paradox theme via Rocketlauncher following the instructions given here: demo.rockettheme.com/?template=paradox

I had already set up a database, etc. and I thought I followed the on-screen instructions within my site perfectly. The template and everything installed exactly as expected HOWEVER they installed in the /rt_paradox_j15-rocketlauncher folder, meaning I have to go to www.mysite.com/rt_paradox_j15-rocketlauncher to see the data.

It also appears at Joomla itself installed in the /rt_paradox_j15-rocketlauncher directory.

I would really have preferred everything to load into the root directory so I could see the sample data at www.mysite.com . It's a brand new site so I'm not worried about it having sample data visible - plus I'll be replacing all the sample data fairly quickly anyway.

Is there an easy fix here? Or do I need to figure out how to re-install into the correct directory?

    • The easiest way is to login to your server via FTP and delete the whole rocketlauncher directory and then install the RL into your root directory which is www, wwwroot or public_html normally.
