Modules on non menu articles/pages

    • One thing I'd love to be able to do - and searched long and hard and haven't found a solution - is to place modules onto pages that are published but not on published menus. If the page isn't on a published menu seems like the modules never are applied. Not good. Wouldn't it be nice to design great pages without this being a limitation? Very curious issue that seems to be related to the application design. I'm sure it's tied into the url being published or something like that. Well, why should that be a limitation - if the article is enabled/published then the page should have a URL even if it isn't on a published menu.

      Any ideas would be fantastic. I've even tried using Modules Anywhere - no dice.

      Help?

    • So would this work, you have module called my-module-does-something and you assign it a module position of mymoduledoessomething.
      Then you create an article, which isn't tied to a menu item, and then in the article have this HTML code ->
      {loadposition mymoduledoessomething}
      On your Front page, you create a link that calls your article which uses loadposition to place your module on the menu-less page.

    • Alternatively ...... create a hidden menu by making a new menu and assigning it to a position that doesnt exist so it never shows up. Assign the page you want to place modules on to that menu and then just assign that module to the page in whatever position you want.
