Joomla control panel has vanished!

Hi, I've just upgraded to Joomla 1.5.22 and for some reason now when I login I don't get the usual control panel anymore? (I've included a screen shot). It's just a white page with 'Logged in Users' at the top and then a load of Popular Article, Recent article and Menu Stat hyperlinks
Any ideas how I fix this?

- You are missing 243 lines from the top. Can you check that the admin's index.php is ok. You can compare with a default Joomla one.

Just to update, I must have been missing a file or 2 when I upgraded Joomla. Copied the files back over and now it's all working again.
Site got hacked due to a secondary component allowing some script injection to occur. Installed a security patch and dropped a php.ini file into the public folder to block anything like that happening in the future.
