    • The sample content in the demo templates is great for starting of, and I wonder if there is any way to download and install it? And is it possible to install the sample Joomla content if you missed it during the installation process.

    • If you want to duplicate one of the demos sites you will need to use one of the Rocket Launchers on a clean install and install the sample data on screen 6.

There's no way to install it after you've set up the site.

(Note the images from the demos are replaced with placeholder images.)

    • Ahaaa! So after I've made a clean install with Rocket Launcher I could export that new database and import it in my old sites database. If that is possible couldn't you offer this sample data as a service to all of those who didn't install the sample data but afterwords conclude they should have done so?

    • No, you can't import the DB from the old site to a RL install.

The RL is for duplicating the demo only.

Another alternative is to apply the template and extensions to your current site and move the content around to match the new Module positions / layout.

If you don't want to do this on a live site (which is never recommended) you can use Akeeba Backup www.akeebabackup.com/software/akeeba-backup.html to copy your site and then develop it on localhost or a sub directory on you host.

If you run the RL and forget to install the sample data, well, you just have to start over....

If you forgot to install the sample data, it's just a matter of deleting the current install, and the contents of the DB and running the install again, which would take about 10-15 minutes.
