Main menu not showing on site

  • Main menu not showing on site

    • Hi, I am in the middle of editing the 'Nexus' template. All was going smoothly, then I went to preview my site acemortgages.org and the main menus at the top of the front page are no longer showing.

They are still all present in Joomla administrator.

Have I ticked or unticked something I shouldn't have

    • Hello, I checked your site and I can see the Menu at the top. Did you fix it already? If it disappears, you might have turn it off at your template manager. Extensions -> Template Manager, rt_nexus_j15

    • Hi, Another question on the Main Menu for the Nexus Template. I've successfully installed the template, menu, etc. and had everything working fine until recently.

The issue I'm running into is with the Mainmenu. I'm using Fusion and have been able to access and make changes in the admin area. I am still able to do so in the admin area, but now the changes in the admin are not showing up on the public site. For example, if I removed one of the existing drop down menu links, it still shows on the front end.

Any ideas on how to resolve this? New articles and my menu items in the footer working are working fine on both ends.

      Thanks,
      Brenda

Could you please ensure you are clearing your browser cache, and Joomla cache (Admin > Site > Clean Cache), as some changes will not even show up until you clear your cache?

    • Thank you. I have cleared the cache repeatedly and tried in various browsers on various computers, but still am not seeing the updates made to the menu on the front end.

If I recreate the menu, it works fine, but this is not ideal for any change to the mainmenu. Up until a month ago, it had worked fine for about a year.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    • Thanks again for your help. Looking at another forum, I realized I had the cache on in the global configuration. Once I turned it off, everything looks good! :D
