    • Hello,
Basically, if you would like your site to look exactly like the demo, you would need to download the RocketLauncher.

You would then FTP the files to your host.
Set up the database (remember the details)
then setup the Joomla site just like the first Joomla site you did. Just make sure you install the sample data.

    • And just to make this clear, this will be a completely fresh install of Joomla. If you install this over your other Joomla site, it will wipe the other.

    • Thanks for the response, ok so ive cleared that fresh install thing out, just confused about this rocket launcher
Is this a separate download? where do i install it and where do i find it?
Basically wat i did was i download the j1.6 bundle from www.rockettheme.com/joomla-downloads/club/1996-nebulae and then installed it from my extensions manager
So where can i find the rocket launcher and how do i use it to install a fresh copy of this template with joomla?
And my apologies as im sort of new to joomla =(

I would suggest sticking with Joomla 1.5.x for now and waiting for Joomla 1.6 to mature a bit more, but that's just me.

      Nebula J 1.5.x RocketLauncher download

There is no Nebula J 1.6.x RocketLauncher download because Joomla 1.6 is not capable of using a RocketLauncher install.

      Nebula downloads here.

      Cheers

    • I would agree with the above. Basically you would download the RocketLauncher Package.
Unzip all the contents on your local machine. FTP them to your Host. then navigate to the host where you FTP'd it to. and the normal Joomla install will come up. Go through that install, make sure you Install the sample data. Then you will have the Demo you see here at RT.

*not the official last word on this*

If i understand correctly, J 1.6 just does not support rocketlauncher (not the other way around), I believe that I had read some where that J 1.7 may be rocketlauncher compatible.

Perhaps someone with more knowledge on the subject than I can clarify.

      Cheers

    • Glad to hear you got it taken care of, and I have not heard the official word either about J1.6 RL.

If this is resolved, please edit your original post with "SOLVED" in the subject and a green check mark. Thank you!
