    Unable to Edit Template Parameters in Joomla 1.6 : Error 500

    • I'm having an issue with Tachyon and other templates I install.

      Installation goes well, but when I go to edit the styles in the template manager area I get a message as such:

      "500 - An error has occurred.
      Unable to use given directory. Check file permissions."

      The odd thing is that every other native template works fine and lets me edit their parameters/style. I know this is likely a permissions issue (aren't many?) but I can find which file drives this.

      Please help ASAP - Thanks!

    • Same issue...I get a 500 server error when going to template manager after installing. Just paid 75 bucks please help!
