ICONS not showing!

    • I'm using the Moxy template and I'm having issues with the print and email icons showing in articles.
      The global config is set to show those two icons, the menu to which the article is assigned is set to have those two icons show and in the article config it's set to let those two icons show. However, they don't show...

      Also, the icons only don't show when the article is set to a menu item. If the article is linked to a submenu item or a blog role the icons show just fine.

      I found this discussion online about a different template provider and a guy having the same problems with their template and was wondering if it could be a similar issue.
      <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href=" www.joomlabamboo.com/index.php?option=co...&id=14623&Itemid=163 "> www.joomlabamboo.com/index.php?o ... Itemid=163</a><!-- m -->

      Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks ^_^

    • After looking at that link, it's just telling you that to check that it's enabled in all the correct places, not sure how that would relate to our template as those are Joomla core functions that operate the same regardless of which template you are using.

      I can't tell you anything without a link to your site other than to double check your article parameters, menu item parameters and individual article parameters.

    • On the second page of that forum it tells the guy to check some file and after he submitted a ticket to them they found that there was a conditional statement out of place that effected whether the icons showed or not.

      "Well I got to the bottom of it and have fixed it on your site. The issue was in the overrides and was due to an out of place conditional statement. The fix if you have an old version of the template is to replace the html/com_content/article/default.php file with the latest version."
      ^ the last post on the second page of the forum....

    • It's hard to say, since that is a totally different template from a different company. If you think that is the answer, then download the most current version of our template and upload that file to that location and see if it fixes it.

      If not, we'll need to see a link to your site to offer more assistance.
