  • SOLVED Warning! Failed to move file - Why?

    • Hi,

      can anybody suggest me a solution why when i try do upload the entire .zip folder thats contains camber templates and more stuff, its not working. I am doing on local folder not remote, with xampp, I use mac.

      Error message is : Warning! Failed to move file

      I did not try yet in remote, but would like to work on local and then once finish upload all content,

    • I believe it is going to be your maximum execution time found in your php.ini file

      You can find your php.ini in the \xampp\apache\bin folder. Find the below line and edit whatever number is there and make it 240 or larger.

      max_execution_time = 240

      thanks for help.

      I changed the php.ini file as suggested, but did not worked. i reboot mac and restarted also xampp.

      but i found out that in the directory permissions of my joomla site (local site) all voices are on unwritable and in red.

      what can i do to change those permission, since i believe the problem is that.

      if the joomla site was remote and online, it would be easy for me doing it via filezilla and permission manager, but here we are speaking "locally".

      how can i change file permission on local sites with xampp?
