Can't install any rocktheme template

Hi guys,
I have been working with Joomla 2 years now. I have 3 sites running with Joomla 1.5. I decided to upgrade my personal site using rocktheme. I try the clarion template at first. Then the hybrid and so on. No one of the templates seems to working. They all encourage the same error. I search all over the forum but i didn't find anything to help me! Please if someone had experience the same issues with me let me know what to do!!

hi there,
the screenshot shows a 404 error, does that mean that you get this error on frontend after setting the clarion or hybrid template as default or do you get this error during the installation?
please also make sure that you install the gantry framework and let us know which package of the template you are using, ie. j1.5, j1.7, j2.5, the bundle, the standalone or the rocketlauncher?

Hi,
Sorry for not mentioning all the details!!
- I installed the Bundle ( in order to installed Gantry too) Joomla version 1.5
- I have no problem installing templates! But when i try to see them the error 404 shows up.
- I cant preview any rocktheme template no matter if its default or not.
I think am missing something! But i don't know what. I tried the rocketlauncher through ftp but there are thousands of files and the processing takes to long to finish.
I also installed all the extensions,modules and components!
If i am missing something or you know what is going on please let me know asap!

Hi max100,
Easiest way to use RocketLauncher is to upload the zip file by ftp and then use your cpanel file manager to extract it. It will need a clean database to be created manually along with a user, ready for installation.
You could try setting Joomla debug to on and error reporting to maximum and see if that gives anymore information.

Shall i delete the template and install it manually using FTP? Or install rocketlauncher on the root directory and leave template on joomla as default?

Hi There,
RocketLauncher should only ever be used for a fresh install as it will delete any existing data.
If you have an existing site with content then do not use RocketLauncher.
Can you PM me with a temporary Super Admin access please and I will take a look to see what the cause may be.

This is the file that is causing the 404 error.
