Configuration successfully saved...but it's not.

  • Configuration successfully saved...but it's not.

    • Very, very frustrated with this problem after dozens of technicians and attempts to solve it. And i'm losing $$$ by the hour over it.

Clean install of Joomla 1.5, 1.7 or 2.5 (same problem exists)

I can no longer change global configuration settings or template settings. It says the change application is successful but then changes back to defaults is you exit the screen or sometimes (in certain browsers) it just applys, says successful and visibly reerts back to whatever default was.

Doesnt matter which template, whether simlpescripts install or manual.

I have chmod the permissions, i had even set the entire dir. to perm.777 to no avail.

It's like it happened suddenly, I was working on a momentum template and discovered that none of my changes were applying Can anyone help with this? I

I have two suggestion for you:

      1. please open new thread with your question next time 8)
      2. contact your hosting support to help you to resolve issues with fpm-fcgi apache module. There is honestly nothing we can do about it since it is server related
