  • SOLVED where is my home page?

    • let me just preface this by saying that I swear I spent a few good hours trying to find the answer.

      I imagine that my lack of understanding comes from my inexperience with Joomla. When I first installed the site I started messing around with all the example pages and I know for a fact that I was messing around with something named "home".
      In other words what do I need to do in order to modify the main landing page on my site?

      If your issue is referring to a specific template than it's better to post in that templates forum.

      Basically your template is divided into a mainbody with optional sidebars. Generally content in the form of articles fills the mainbody.
      Around it are module positions where you place modules with contain content you deem appropriate for your site.
      This is the layout for ANY menu page, including the Home page for the Camber template:

      I actually just figured it out on my own, I guess I had to "sleep on it". I figured out my confusion menus. I was trying to figure out why there was no "home" under my custom site menu. I happened to look around and saw that there was a tab called "top" and there was a home under that tab. I guess that's where I assign the modules that should only appear on the front page.

      In our RocketLauncher's the HOME landing page is always part of the Main Menu.
