Can not get Clarion Template to look like theactual Template

Hi ,
I am new to Joomla.
I have installed Joomla 2.5.6 on xampp and runnning fine.
I installed the Clarion template and Halcyon templates into Joomla they seemed to install OK.
I made then Clarion the default hi the View site and it does not look like the actual template. No images, menu is not in the correct position. The templates thet come with joomla look better than the Clarion template.
My question is how do I make the Clarion template look like the actual tempate when I hit View site.
I was hoping it would look exactly like the actual template and all I would have to do is change the images and put my own text in to create a very quick web site.

So that I don't have to uninstall my Joomla 2.5.6 before I install rocket launcher.
My Joomla 2.5.6 files are in C drive a file called xampp/htdocs/joomla256
All the files are in the Joomla 256 file so it does not effect my original joomla install.
Would it be OK not to delete these files but to put the extracted Zip files of the Ximenia Rocketlauncher into a new file ie C Drive/xampp/htdocs/Joomla
This way they would be in a different file but still contained within xampp/htdocs
Will this work?
PS Do I have to do anything to the xampp or will this take care of itself when I install rocket launcher
