Search field in menu toolbar (Versatility 4)

Hello,
Would it be possible to move the search field to the right of the main menu in the Toolbar module (I have Versatility 4 template for J2.5)? I've seen examples how to do it for templates from other companies, but before I start trying to code it and spend hours on it, I thought I'd ask if you have an idea how to accomplish it easier.
I looked at the attachments in this forum posting goo.gl/PzluM and it seems there is some sort of template editor that would let me split modules in sections and accomplish what I need. Is that right? Can someone help me out please?

Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

Thanks. It's not a problem really, I just want to tweak the top menu to include the search bar that is in the Search module by default.
