Gantry cache hiding main menu
Posted 12 years 7 months ago
I've got a customized template override where the main nav menu is turned off for some of my pages (sign-up pages).
I've noticed that sometimes the other pages in my site are missing the nav menu as well. When I clear the gantry cache it resolves the issue: the menu appears again on the pages where it should. This leads me to believe that this is not an issue with the core joomla caching.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Is there a way to exclude the main menu from the Gantry cache? It's pretty critical. In older versions of Joomla (or other templates) I would just go into the module manager for the main menu module and turn caching off at the module level, but I don't see this option in Gantry + Enigma.
You can't see updates to the template in update manager since those are club downloads and it would be difficult to provide such restricted update in update manager

I see. It might be good for business to be able to have updates show there, but make people click through to your members area and login to upgrade. I'm sure you've looked into it though.
