How to upgrade from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5

I currently use SolarSentinel template with Joomla 1.5.

I am keen to update my website to use the new Graffito template. In order that i can use the new template i will need to upgrade to Joomla 2.5. I am looking to use the Graffito Rocket Launcher as it contains Joomla 2.5 and the template.
The question I have is, what is the best way to do this??
e.g. do i need to delete all my files for my current website on my host and then install Joomla 2.5 using the Rocket Launcher and then re-build my website or is there an easier solution??
