Fresh Install - Incredibly SLOW

After a 13 year stint in the Army I'm getting back into the web design game, so I'm VERY new to Joomla!
Today I did a fresh install of Graffito. I've installed RokBooster and published it. I don't know why but my site is REALLY REALLY slow - it actually takes 30 seconds to load! Even the site administrator is really slow to load.
Can anybody help me figure out why my site is so slow?

I would suggest you to contact your hosting provider and ask them why your server waits 45 seconds to start serving web site content
