    • Hi All,

      The front-end of my site is blank www.csdf.co.uk .
      I can log into the back-end and I get the following error message:

      Cannot assign default template.
      The parameter file /templates/rt_juxta_j15/params.ini is writable!

      Notice: Undefined variable: latest_version in /content/StartupHost/c/s/csdf.co.uk/web/components/com_gantry/admin/elements/versioncheck.php on line 97

      Notice: Undefined variable: link in /content/StartupHost/c/s/csdf.co.uk/web/components/com_gantry/admin/elements/versioncheck.php on line 102

      Notice: Undefined variable: latest_version in /content/StartupHost/c/s/csdf.co.uk/web/components/com_gantry/admin/elements/versioncheck.php on line 103

      If I change the template the front-end works again.

      Can someone please help.

      Regards,
      Patrick

    • hi patrick,

      the message "Cannot assign default template." is normal. it will always show for any template which is currently set as the default template.

      regarding the other notices, which version of gantry are you using? looks like it is an old one, so you may want to update.

      the frontend now shows this:
      Notice: Undefined index: pb42eb in /content/StartupHost/c/s/csdf.co.uk/web/templates/rt_juxta_j15/index.php(1) : eval()'d code on line 1

      but i have not seen this error before. maybe the gantry update will help.

      kat :)
