Hi, I am currently setting up a new website at
www.egg3.be
with the Frescp template. The main menu does not look like advertised in the template demo (blue buttons instead of the black dropdown menu). Could you please help? Screenshots of the menu setting in attachment.
Thanks in advance.
OK - first of all you need more than one button. As you only have Home and that is therefore active it will be blue.
The easiest way to start would be to install the RocketLauncher version and you get a replica of the demo (except with dummy pictures due to licensing) and then add, edit or delete content as required. Alternatively keep the demo intact and use that as a reference point.
Hope this helps

Hello and thanks for your super quick answer. My subscription has expired unfortunalty, so no more access to the rocketlauncher download.
I have added some more buttons in the meantime but the menu styling has not changed: still plain blue buttons. I guess there is a class suffix I must specify somehwere? I thought that setting the menu details in the template config would be sufficient.
Hello dear, no reply to my previous msg so I supposed that my expired subscription was a problem. I renewed in the meantime and downloaded another template (fracture), hoping that the install of a new template would solve the problem. Unfortunalty I get the same issue: the top menu behaves like a sidebar module and not like a top menu should.
Could you please help? May I PM my admin login so you can have a closer look? Thanks in advance.
Did you install the standalone template on a clean Joomla? It looks like you don't have RokNavMenu installed.
If you are starting from an empty site it would be easier to set up the RocketLauncher and add content then delete the remaining demo content you don't need.
You ca PM me with a temporary Super Admin access and I will take a look to see what the cause may be if the above is not of any help. Please include the link to this post for ease of reference.
Thanks
