issue with global configuration and joomlafish

- Hi there, I have a website in English that I need to translate to a second language but I have a conflict with the "search engine friendly urls" (global configuration) and joomlafish. disconnecting the "search engine friendly urls" works fine! is there any way to overcome the problem without disconnecting it? Thanks

This question should really be asked in the official Joomla or JoomFish forum since this is something that is certainly related to the core Joomla feature and 3rd party extension.
I can suggest you not to use JoomFish at all since Joomla now has good multilingual features in the core. Check this tutorial to see how to fully utilize it with our templates
