Mycustomstyle css Chrome not loading

Hi,
my site (under development) loads mycustomstyle.css fine in Safari and Firefox, but Chrome is ignoring it and my pages dont look right.. Once the site is good to go I'm moving to a Linux server so I will then be able to use .htaccess if needed to add a mod there if required.
Any ideas thank you

I get this when i visit your site:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in E:\domains\e\earthtools.co.uk\user\htdocs\2013\libraries\joomla\database\database\mysqli.php on line 382
Anyway, in recent templates you just have to drop the rt_templatename-custom.css into the template's css folder. - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
A template is only as good as the content that goes into it

Thanks for your quick response.
Does this mean I should really use rt_ximenia-custom.css rather than doing all my css overrides in mycustomstyle.css?
I'd guess I shouldn't use both?
PS. The site goes from 3 seconds page load to time-out on scripts.. I guess shared hosting is not helping me on this site with Virtuemart 2.
