Hello at RocketTheme,
In 2010 or 2011 Andy Miller did a a blog or post at the RocketTheme web site explaining the best way to configure a site for production in the Global Joomla Settings.
I have tried to find this blog or post but not been successful. I do hope it still is online somewhere at the RocketTheme web site.

Hi Igor,
Thank you for your link to the blog - I went through the blogs but didn't find it. I am not sure that it was a blog.
What Andy did was a very comprehensive walking through of the settings in the Joomla Global Configuration for a production site - "settings to do before going live". I know we made a copy of it and saved it on our office network but I have not been able to find it yet so I thought you at RocketTheme would be able to point me to the link for this useful guide.
