  • SOLVED Disabling Frontpage/Featured Article Content

    • I am having some difficulty turning off the homepage content, so I can display just one module (Rok Gallery) on the frontpage.

      The link to the page is here www.velocitytag.com/vt

      I have tried placing the module into the article but it doesn't look the way I want it. I have also turned off Display Component in the Advanced Gantry Template options as well as Display Mainbody without success.

      I downloaded and installed a blank front page extension which worked but the white box remained. This worked in the standard Joomla template when testing but fails with Tachyon.

      I have also turned off featured articles. Can anybody provide I solution. I have looked at other threads throughout the forums but nothing seems to work.

    • Well, this should work with disabling "Display Component" so you might want to clarify what exactly didn't work for you when you disabled that parameter

    • I have added an attachment of the section I don't want. When the blank article module is enabled the article disappears but the white box remains.

      Display Component seems to have no effect on any pages. Do I have to set this somewhere in the Home Menu options? My understanding of display component in the tachyon settings is that it removes the mainbody content section which is where the articles are shown?

    • You have to set menu item type for that specific page to "Featured articles" menu type because "Display component" and "Show mainbody" parameters works only with that menu item type
