    Filter JavaScript by Menu Item/Page

Posted 11 years 7 months ago
    • Hi,

I have an issue that I am hoping someone here can help me solve. I am using Joomla 3.1 and the Hexeris template. I am also running MageBridge, a very nice extension which creates an API between Magento and Joomla! allowing me to display my Magento site "inside" joomla!. The issue I am having is that that Magento uses Prototype while RokSproket and Joomla! use Mootools.

I want to be able to only call prototype and the Magento scripts only on the menu items using Magento and exclude the calls to those scripts everywhere else in the template. I also want to be be able to exclude Mootools from the menu items using Magento.

I assume this would be done in the header of index.php using an If else clause but I am not sure about the syntax for doing so. Is this something I can get support on?

Thank you for your time and help.

      Jared

    • You will really need to contact MageBridge developers to help you with this. They need to tell you how you can do this and limit loading Megento JS files from loading on non Magento pages 8)
