HACKED - index.php in template folder

This may be a stupid question (sorry!) but I can't for the life of me remember what the "index.php" file in the Hyperion template folder is SUPPOSED to say. My site got hacked and they re-wrote that page so that now it's just a bunch of text in Turkish and a picture of the Turkish flag. Is there any reason why I shouldn't replace this with the original index file that was installed with the template? I haven't done a backup in quite a while, unfortunately (who hacks into the website of a tiny, struggling video store in the middle of nowhere? I guess I just didn't see the point of anyone hacking such a small, locally oriented site.)
UPDATE: I found my backup, uploaded, and all is well. But I'm wondering what the file permissions should be for this file? 644?

644 files yes, 755 folders. Also, yes, you can just replace the index.php from your backup or from the downloaded template file from our site.
hackers will hack - they like the challenge - they don't care if you are big or small - leave the door ajar and they will come in. I suggest that you consider changing all you password to much more secure ones and also use something like Akeeba Admin Tools to secure your site more and deter the hackers.
