    • I installed a fresh Joomla 3.1 installation and vermillion template on a closed network setup. W

hen viewed through IE(11) it reports the IE 7 is unsupported and needs to be updated.

As stated I am on IE11 and it works perfectly through Chrome

This site is hosted on Windows 7 32bit machine with the XAMPP webserver setup.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    • Please post a link to your site... I would also recommend disabling any browser plugins to see if that has an effect

    • Unfortunately that makes it impossible for us to diagnose... I have a clean J3 RocketLauncher installation of Vermilion and neither it, nor the RT Demo of Vermilion, throw that error in IE 11

You can of course disable the IE7 and lower check in your Template Manager > Template > Advanced Tab....

Does it throw the error on all pages, or just the Home Page? If it's just the homepage you could create an override for the Home Page and only toggle the IE7 redirect off there
