    • Has anyone upgraded from PHP Version 5.3.3 ? I have a dedicated server from 1and1 and need to do so with the new templates.

I run Plesk version CentOS 6.3 (Final)
      Panel version 11.0.9

1and1 sent me the process below to upgrade php but I a hesitant as I'm not sure if it will screw anything

      www.shayanderson.com/linux/centos-5-or-c...php-54-or-php-55.htm

Any feedback or direction on this one is greatly apprecated.

At a MINIMUM you should run 5.3.10. However I would recommend 5.4 and if your brave give 5.5 a run. Just make sure yoou have backups before trying anything.

    • Well I have been around the server trying to get this accomplished, I ended up deleting my version of Plesk by the How to provided by 1and1... and was down most of day, I can not seem to upgrade my PHP. The server is restored at this point but still on version 5.3.1.

Ive tried this command in root: rpm -Uvh mirror.webtatic.com/yum/el6/latest.rpm and similar calls but I get this error:

curl: (22) the reqeusted url returned error: 404

Any help, adivce, or direction on this? I really do not feel like chaning hosts at this point just to get updated to a new version of PHP, I may not be understanding the complecation around this but should this be pretty straigt foward?

Thank you for any help, Im a but frurstrated at this point...

Sorry to hear this. I left 1&1 ages ago. With my latest providers its just a line in an htaccess file that has to be added to change the PHP version for that site. Can't their tech support help you out?
