I received an email today stating "Registration approval required for account of....at my site name".
Content of email:
Hello administrator,
A new user has registered at my site name.
The user has verified his email address and requests that you approve his account.
This email contains their details:
Name : Jacques Toussaint
email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Username: cinembanosiaz
You can activate the user by clicking on the link below:
http:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I also looked in the backend and noticed this registration was there, along with one more created the same day, and both were inactive. I have not activated them, and I do not want registration on my site. I'm concerned about a potential security issue here.
I do not have a login module enabled on this site. It has been live for several months and I have never seen this until today. I have made a lot of updates in the past few days, but since there is no login module, how are they registering?
Help please.

You have registration enabled on the site:

Go into the General Settings and Users Configuration and turn user registration to off ... -
