Fatal Error uninstalling old RokSproket

I discovered that we had two Joomla 2.0.5 components according to Extensions > Manager. We also had 2.1.6 installed. I attempted to uninstall one of the 2.0.5 entries. I got

My system is now totally dead.- Is there any way to recover, short of falling back to an earlier backup?
If and when I can recover, is there any way to get rid of (both) version 2.0.5 without destroying the system?
I notice that 2.1.6 was installed on its release date - 3/6/15. I do not recall doing this. Did you automatically update?

It shouldn't be possible for 2 versions of RokSprocket to exist in your system unless someone changed the com_roksprocket folder name...
you can try reinstalling RokSprocket...
Otherwise, yes, I would recommend reverting to a backup - SEARCH the forum first! These boards are rich in knowledge and vast in topics. This includes searching just the 'Solved' forums, using Google, and using ChatGPT

Your response of "It shouldn't be possible for 2 versions of RokSprocket to exist in your system unless someone changed the com_roksprocket folder name..." is no doubt true. In fact there is only one folder and it contains the current version.
HOWEVER - Extension Manager > Manage reports three entries:
Attachment has been deleted
Is there any way to get rid of these? Do they cause any harm? Should I just ignore the problem?

Are there multiple instances of the Module and Plugin RS extensions as well? -- or just Administrator?
I'd say no harm no foul if it's not screwing up RS on the Front End... it would seem then like RS updated successfully, it's just that Joomla didn't clean up it's extensions list... somehow 2.0.5 got listed twice? Then when you upgraded Joomla was unable to remove those?.... which is bit over my head... perhaps they're just database entries that can be deleted?
If it were me I'd check the Joomla forums/Google for "duplicate items/entries in extension list/extension manager" as a start... and poke around the database after that... - SEARCH the forum first! These boards are rich in knowledge and vast in topics. This includes searching just the 'Solved' forums, using Google, and using ChatGPT
