    SSL Error in Salient (Joomla)

Posted 8 years 8 months ago
    • My website displays the SSL green lock icon with a grey triangle that has an exclamation mark in it. I have found this means the site is displaying mixed content. Using the security tab in the FireFox inspector I find the following error message.

Blocked loading mixed active content " api.html5media.info/1.1.5/html5media.min.js "

Apparantly I need to track this down and either remove it or change it to "https". I have looked for this link in all the files and have not found it or any part of it.

How do I go about fixing this issue?

    • that's not a script packaged with Salient... it's something you've installed... some 3rd party extension/script... it's being called from the bottom of your <head> section... if you placed it there manually then just change it to https... if you placed it there from your Page Settings tab then adjust it there... if some other plugin/extension you installed is injecting that then you need to contact the plugin developer directly.
