I have one part with excersices that many people all over use. This has one menu with related topics
then I have one part for my own school classes where their lessons are + many useful grammatics etc.
for these 2 I have made 2 menus. The first one uses main menu - the second one with a new name
I have made users - groups and access + module for the new one, so people login in groups
but now I found out that in the template behind - I should choose 1 menu - and then the other pages have no menu
Question: can't I have 2 seperate menus? going along with users???

It's a bit hard to understand you but in essence the answer is yes. Create a Joomla "menu" module and publish that to a position on the page (you could also use a roknavmenu instead but it would need to be a different type to the menu injected by template manager as you can't have two roknavmenus of the same type on the same page).
