    SOLVED Trouble moving site to subdirectory.

    • [solved] I guess this is a configuration question.

      I move my site (Joomla 3.8, Kirigami theme installed with rocketlauncher) to a subdirectory. This is so I can use it as a reference while I recreate it fresh in the main directory. Fresh meaning without the rockerlauncher demo things and my messes from learning.

      I moved it to the subdirectory using info. from
      docs.joomla.org/Moving_the_site_among_di...ries/sub-directories (for config file)
      forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=1454615#p1454615 (moved instead of deleted)
      I also moved the Layout directory to the subdirectory.

      The site shows a single ">" and the page source is:
      <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
      <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-gb" lang="en-gb" >
      <head>
      	<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
      	<jdoc:include type="head" />
      </head>
      	<body <!-- Unable to render layout... can not find layout class for doc_body -->>
      		<div id="rt-page-surround">
      						<div id="rt-drawer">
      				<div class="rt-container">

      If I change the theme in the database to protostar then it works.

      What is needed for it to find the RocketTheme things?

    • It fixed itself. Today it works. I don't know why. Maybe it was a cache thing. Thank you for offering to help!
