    Joomla Single Sign-On

    • I've an interesting Joomla problem/challenge and would like to get some input.

I have a single Joomla 1.5.4 site that is mirrored at domain.com & https://secure.domain.com  The sites are identical and they both run off the same database. Almost everything works w/out a hitch ... except that the user is asked to log in again when transitioning from domain.com to https://secure.domain.com  I need a "single sign-on" to work for both of the site's mirrors.

Apparently, there is something in the session data ( $_SESSION or MySQL ) that somehow links the authenticated session to the domain used when the session is created. I've checked in the jos_session table and find no reference to the domain. I expect it'll be a relatively easy hack, but I'm at a loss right now and would certainly appreciate some help.

      So ... any ideas?

      Thanks in advance,
      Charles

    • Nope ... apparently the sub-domain is the issue, not the http:// vs. https://

This is a real stumper for me and I really appreciate any help & suggestions y'all may have.

      Thanks,
      Charles
